Marina and motorhome site in North Holland
Schagen marina is open 365 days a year, a 500 metre stroll from the town centre. Modern facilities for boat and motorhome alike, in a harbour lovingly run by the foundation's volunteers.
The marina
For boaters and motorhome travellers who appreciate a well equipped site, Schagen marina is an easy recommendation. The adjacent quays hold around 40 visitor berths, while floating jetties in the harbour itself accommodate about 100 berth holders and guests.
The grounds offer power and water points, well kept showers and toilets, disposal points for chemical toilets, bilge and waste water, and a free slipway. Wifi is free for berth holders and visitors, and there is a fully equipped accessible toilet and family shower. Report to the harbour master on arrival and you will be assigned a berth.

Services are well taken care of: drinking water, chemical toilet and grey water disposal are on site. And the fuel station is literally next door, the cheapest in the region, barely ten metres from the harbour.

Around us
Schagen is the region's town for shopping and going out, and the coast and the polders are just around the corner.
Shops, terraces and restaurants around the Marktplein and the two church towers, plus Slot Schagen castle and the Vreeburg museum. All within walking distance of the harbour.
In summer, Thursday brings the West Frisian market to the town centre, with traditional costume, old crafts and folklore. In the rest of the year Thursday is regular market day.
The North Sea beaches of Petten, Sint Maartenszee and Callantsoog are some 10 to 12 kilometres from the harbour.
From the harbour you cycle straight into the West Frisian polders, past dykes and villages; in spring the bulb fields are in bloom.
From the marina you sail onto the North Holland waterway network, with popular routes towards Kolhorn, Medemblik and Alkmaar.
Casting-rod fishing is prohibited in the harbour itself. Outside the harbour you are welcome with a VISpas (HSV De Baars).
Casting-rod fishing is not permitted anywhere in the harbour, following damage to boats and an accident. The fine is € 95. Fishing with a VISpas (HSV De Baars) is welcome outside the harbour.
